Located in the prosperous village of Bridge of Weir, west of Glasgow, Affluent Financial Planning (AFP) was established in 1995 and is part of the Affluent Group. AFP provides lifestyle financial planning to a select number of affluent individuals who are either retired, business owners or high earning professionals.

Headed up by Carl Melvin, the team at Affluent are growing, with a new financial planner set to join in June. All clients benefit from a dynamic financial plan and proactive ongoing advice and support. Affluent has a community fund to provide grants to local charities and community groups and allocates a proportion of annual profits to good causes.  

Carl Melvin is a chartered financial planner, a chartered wealth manager, and a certified financial planner licence holder. He is a fellow of both the PFS and CISI.
