Davidson Asset Management (DAM) has offices in central Glasgow, London, and Manchester.
The firm approaches financial planning with a four ‘Ds’ philosphy: discuss, discover, design, and develop. They discuss clients’ hopes and aspirations, discover the value of their existing assets, design a bespoke investment plan, and then continue to develop the plan as things change.
Since 2018, the firm has run its own fully active portfolios.
Russell Davidson, CEO and founder of DAM has recently taken a step back from the advice process, but the firm has recently promoted a paraplanner to an adviser role, meaning that all of Davidson’s clients are still having frequent reviews.
Many of DAM’s corporate clients are in hospitality, which has been challenging over the last 18 months due to the coronavirus pandemic. Despite this, 90% of DAM’s private wealth clients come from corporate connections.
