Spentwell was started by Keith Boyes in 2019, a chartered financial planner with over a decade of industry experience in the UK and abroad.
Boyes had always felt there was a disconnect between the client and the adviser, and that financial advice could perhaps be seen as something quite intimidating, opaque and not necessarily relatable to the client on the street. Spentwell was created to present a fresh and relaxed approach to financial advice, using great technology and visuals to turn the complex into something simple and impactful for clients. It’s that fresh approach that’s resulted in Spentwell winning four design and branding awards to date.
A key part of their approach is sharing knowledge through short and punchy videos, blogs, newsletters and educational seminars, something they have used to great effect over the past year. Spentwell has also partnered with their local football club, Spartans, and engaged with the community to deliver educational sessions across several money topics.
