Stewardship Wealth is based in Aberdeenshire in the North East of Scotland. The firm was set up with three values at its core: faith, family and philanthropy. In line with this, they provide funding to key areas of need. Each year they commit at least 10% of total income to charities and local causes; as of the end of May, they have donated £100,000.

Stewardship Wealth provides personal hands-on support to local initiatives, including Storehouse, a food bank currently feeding around 900 individuals across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Through discretionary gifts, Stewardship Wealth also supports many other causes, the list of which is extensive and diverse. Further afield, they help fund education in Uganda, and housing for orphans in Malawi. More locally, the firm supports ex-offender rehabilitation, debt counselling, and local health charities. This year they are supporting an environmental charity that safeguards Scotland’s natural beauty and promotes getting outdoors and enjoying nature.

‘We loved the idea as the mental health benefits of exercise are well known, and it fitted well with our existing charity network,’ says founder and director, Simon Glazier.
