With more than three quarters of a billion pounds in assets under advice and offices in Bury St. Edmunds, Norwich, Ipswich and Kibworth, Beckett Investment Management is one of East Anglia’s largest independent firms. It has held chartered status with the Chartered Insurance Institute since 2011 and is ranked in the Top 100 firms by Citywire New Model Adviser and Financial Adviser.

The firm was acquired by Foresight, a specialist in venture capital and small and medium-sized enterprises, in the spring of 2021 and has seen its staff count increase by 10% since the beginning of the year, including the hire of two new private client consultants. Its recent client survey revealed an average score of 9.6 out of 10, and it has developed a strong social media presence, with a YouTube channel featuring a variety of unique animations.  

Mental health is an important area of focus for Beckett, with managing director Ian White being a vocal supporter of wellbeing in the workplace. The firm offers dedicated mental health training sessions for all staff and has organised workshops externally in association with mental health charity Suffolk Mind.
