In the past 12 months, the firm’s charitable arm, The EQ Foundation (which owns a significant stake of EQ Investors), has donated more than in any previous year, partly in response to increased need resulting from the pandemic and partly to support some additional causes. These include: Action Tutoring, which provides tutoring to children from low-socioeconomic backgrounds; The Borne Foundation, which promotes research for reducing premature births (the Big Give raised more than £150,000 on the back of EQ’s £25,000); and For Baby’s Sake Trust, which aims to reduce the number of adverse childhood experiences of young children.
