Established in 1994, Jane Smith Financial Planning provides an independent financial planning service built on family values. Nicola Watts, Jane Smith’s daughter, joined the firm in 2000 and, since Jane’s retirement, is now the sole adviser. The company provides holistic financial planning services, concentrating on investment, retirement and inheritance planning. Its clients are well-established professionals who come to the firm at a point in life when their priorities are starting to change and are in or nearing retirement.  

The last 18 months have been challenging for the company, but it has risen to that challenge. A mere global pandemic has not stopped the business from progressing with various projects, working towards its long-term goals. This period has demonstrated the effectiveness of working from home and the company will continue to offer the option to do so in the future. Jane Smith Financial Planning is nearing the completion of a 12-month project to roll out its new fee and service proposition. A client testimonial video project is set to be launched, and improvements have been made to systems and processes to improve efficiencies.
