Timothy James & Partners (TJ&P) was founded in 1995 with the aim of being the best independent financial advice firm in London. It currently has £1.3bn in assets under management. In March 2021 TJ&P moved to new offices in St James’s, ready to welcome staff back when Covid-19 restrictions were lifted.

The company has always operated on a referral-only basis, with new clients coming through professional connections such as accountants and solicitors, or through existing clients. The firm wants clients to regard them in the same way they view their lawyer, accountant or family GP, as TJ&P believes the key to the best financial advice is knowing the bigger picture.

The firm is very investment-oriented and provides holistic financial advice, with all advisers qualified to advise on debt as well as pensions and investments through corporate finance, inheritance tax planning and mortgages.

This summer Timothy James & Partners have been proud to be the presenting partner of ‘Van Gogh Alive – The Experience’ in Kensington Gardens. As well as welcoming 300,000 visitors, the company has been able to host hospitality and business development events while also raising funds for the Kingston Hospital Charity. After a year of restrictions, Timothy James & Partners has welcomed the opportunity to enjoy some face-to-face time with its clients and their families once again.
