Equilibrium’s purpose is to make people’s lives better. That includes everything from the advice it gives to clients and their families to looking after their team’s wellbeing, as well as the Equilibrium Foundation that supports local causes.
The company currently manages more than £1bn assets for over 1,300 clients and aims to have £4bn of assets under advice by 2028.
In 2020, Equilibrium donated more than £133,000 to several causes. The firm works with the Bursary Foundation, a Manchester-based charity that connects high-achieving pupils from low-income families with the best education opportunities. Equilibrium covers half the costs for two students each year for their entire secondary education.
The also set up an initiative for wealthy clients to donate their winter fuel allowance to the Equilibrium Foundation, which is then passed on to charities for the elderly, raising more than £8,000 per year.
In the recent Investors in Customers survey, of all 2020 assessments, Equilibrium achieved the highest score of 9.1/10 as well the highest net promoter score of 76%.
