Financial Management Bureau sits where Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire meet on the edge of the Lake District. The firm was founded in 1987 by the late Les Beavis, and daughters Liz Beavis and Ruth Power are on the board alongside certified and chartered financial planner Roger Jackson and director of human resources and compliance Gill Forrester. With a team of 27, FMB manages most functions internally with some external support. The investment ethos is flexible to suit the client, but it generally uses multi-assets with a mix of active and passive.
