Lowes is celebrating a milestone birthday in 2021. It has been providing independent financial advice to people around the UK for 50 years.
Dedicated client care is central to its goal of total peace of mind for its clients. Its personal approach to financial planning has helped thousands of clients build, protect and pass on their wealth. It has more than 90 committed professionals, all of whom share the company ethos of ‘personal finances are cared for personally’. In the company’s latest client satisfaction survey, more than 94% of clients rated their service and investment advice as ‘good’ or ‘very good’.
Lowes provides support to a wide range of charitable causes. To mark its 50th year, it has pledged to donate up to £50,000 to charity during 2021. One initiative involves donating £150 to a charity whenever a new client comes on board as a result of a referral from an existing client. In 2020, the Lowes Charity Committee donated more than £100,000 to a wide range of charities.
Also in 2020, Lowes launched the Lowes Financial Academy, which will train the next generation of advisers, not just for Lowes but for the wider market, and a Managed Portfolio Service, which enables clients to benefit from the team’s years of experience in analysing funds and constructing portfolios, but this time on a discretionary rather than advisory basis.
